Hello Betty, Glad you like my pics. I like both cats and birds and take care of them both, luckily my cat is not all that interested in the big birds, as far as eating them is concerned and is quite amused by their antics. We can have as many as 9 differnt birds in the garden at one time, almost better to watch than television at times. We have a dog as well,he will chase the birds, if he thinks that they are getting something to eat and he is missing out. We have Magpies that will come and knock on the door to get some mince. At night it is the possums that come calling for food , they get some fruit. They are quite tame and will eat from your hand.
Well Betty it is nice to have your company on the Kirkcaldy Book it is nice to chat, enough for now I better go make some dinner. Ann.

Thank you very much for posting them Annie. It must be wonderful to have such beautiful birds visiting your garden. Love your garden too, is that lupins I see there?
I wasn't a cat lover either Betty until our cat Garbo presented herself at our back door, pregnant and underfed about 20 years ago. Sadly she died last year, but I will never forget her. I presume that's your cat Annie? I especially like the last pic of her, see the birds watching her and she is pretending to be soooo aloof about the whole thing.
I've asked Hamish about hosting so I should be able to get a couple of pics of my garden for you soon
Catch ya later

Hi there Kdylass, Glad you like the pics of my cat, she is cute, it keeps her amused watching the birds, not eating them, I will post some more soon, my garden is not the best at the moment as we can't water too much. I am trying hard to keep my palms alive as they can be expensive to replace. I like your pics I like the one with the squirrel in it, your garden looks pretty good as well.

Those are great pics. What kind of birds are those Annie, they are beautiful. Something you would see in a pet shop here.
They look like #OOPS#atiels, as I right?

Hi Sunni
Thanks for the laugh. Oopsatiel is now the new name for that particular bird as far as I am concerned.
I love it when boards try to make us all PC, I attended one that wouldn't allow the word Hello because it had what they considered a bad word in it. The board would change it to Heaveno.

Hi: I am an ex-patriate now living in Ontario, Canada. Lived in Kirkcaldy from birth to age 17. Left in 1974 , been home several times, still have some family there. Maiden name Townsend and lived in Oaktree Square. Anyone remember us?
Your garden is amazing, the birds and cat look like best friends. Thanks for sharing your pics.
