Hi Betty, the flowers look wonderful so full of colour and very happy looking, I wish my garden was as good,we have just got new watering instructions today and we can only water on a Wed. and Sunday from now on and still asking people to cut down on shower time. It is going to be hard to keep all the plants alive, so there is not much good planting to many things unless they are drought tolerant, I have just been putting plants in big pots as it takes less water to keep them alive. I have put my new Lime and manderine trees in pots and I hope that will keep them ok till we can plant them in the garden. This is the worst drought in 100 years. Happy gardening Ann.

I try to do without chemicals in the garden too, but that quote reminds me of the first time I tried the washing liquid trick, typically of me I overdid it somewhat, used far to much liquid and killed off the plants completely.

Well since we are now on thougher water resrictions any water we can save from washing to waiting for hot water to come into the sink we save the cold water and then put it in a bucket for watering the plants, we can water the garden tomorrow up till 10 am and then from 4pm so we will have to dowhat we can in that time frame. I know it is cheating a bit but here are some flowers from last summer, since I have none at the moment in the garden, hope you don't mind.

Hi guys, I just thought that I would post a few photos, some of a few flowers we have in the garden, and some of the cat enjoying the smell of spring just a few days away. I am glad for us that we are now going into spring but sad for you over in KB land as you are now starting autumn and the cooler weather.

Great pics Ann, thanks for letting us share them.
Love the pic of the cat, if you want to learn how to relax, just watch a cat!
You are so lucky to have such beautiful bird visitors.
Isn't it great when you can sense Spring in the air, hope you have a wonderful springtime and summer.

Hi everyone, just thought I would post a few more photos, a few flowers and thats about all we have had this spring, just a few, most of the bulbs have not flowerd. The little bird chases the big one, so he has put his comb up in protest. The tree that is covered in white flowers is called a May bush.
