ps: for Keith couldn't spell avery ( I only went to Balwearie not Kirkcaldy High)

Hi Marjorie,

I thought it had to be me - especially when you spelt it wi' a capital A. Never mind, the aviary's gone but I'm still here. I hope to post some more pictures in a week or two once our visitors from Oz are away (they leave on Thursday).

BTW, Balwearie has a better reputation than KHS at the present time so you must have been a trend setter!

Hi Keith, how are your visitors from down under enjoying the visit to kirkcaldy and Dysart, do they have any connections to the area?. Tell them to bring some rain back with them, what we have had the other day did not even wet the roads, and we are now only to water on a Wed. and Sunday, so if it is a hot summer we are going to have a bit of trouble keeping our plants in the garden alive.
I am looking froward to seeing your photos. How is the harbour work going?. Ann

Hi Anne,
The weather here has been excellent for just about all of the last eight weeks so there is no rain for our visitors to take back!

Frances is from Kirkcaldy and went to school with my wife and my wife's cousin. The three of them used to go around everywhere together. Frances' partner, Bill, originally came from Lancashire. I have been trying to get Frances to sign up to this forum once she gets back home but that will be a wee while yet as they are going to see a bit of Europe first and then stop off in Malaysia on the way back. I hope she remembers to sign up - if not I'll email a prompt.

Have to go now since we are about to celebrate the end of the summer holidays (and my birthday - don't ask how many :aghast: ) with our visitors and other friends. I can't overdo it though because it's back to school tomorrow

Hi Keith, sorry to hear your holidays have come to an end, it seems to have gone very fast, I hope you have had a good rest and are all ready for school again.
It is good to hear you have had good weather that makes such a difference.
There seems to be a few birthdays at the moment, my granddaughter is 19 years old tomorrow, it just seems like yesterday she was just a wee thing in our arms, you have to make the most of them when they are little, as they are grown up before you know it. I hope you had a great time at your birthday party.
I will look forward to Frances joining us on the KB.Has she noticed much of a change back home?.Ann

Hi All

I am going to attempt to put my photos on, I have forgotten how I did it last time so this may or may not work.

Marjorie
