Well that is all from Kirkcaldy.

I am of to Boston USA in 3 weeks, then Dover Pa.USA. I am going to a breast cancer gathering, meeting some of the people that I e-mail online it is for a weekend so I thought I would combine it with going to my sisters to make up the fortnight.

Marjorie bye for now.

Hello Marjorie, thank you so very much for those wonderful photos, you did great putting them in the forum, it seems like someone is letting Kirkcaldy go to bits, I can't believe why they are letting the Beveridge park go like that, it seems such a shame.
Do the breast cancer gathering have fund raising events or is it just a get together?.
I hope you have a great holiday, the weather will still be quite good at this time of year. We will be looking froward to seeing more pictures. Happy holiday Ann.

Hi Ann

It is mainly a gathering, they do have an auction also a silent auction not quite sure what that is.I have a few things I got in Scotland so I thought we might have a raffle either for everything or individual items.

We are hooking up at some point with some of the Australians, to speak to them, so that will be nice.Picked up my plane tickets today.

I have decided to try and get on with my life, no point having money in the bank for a rainy day, it didn't do my husband much good.

Will take photos in Boston and where my sister lives and post them later.

Marjorie

Hi Marjorie, I can't agree more with you just have to get on and that can be very hard. This is one reason I do the KB, I had a spinal operation and was limited in what I can do, plus I missed the old book. I can't sit for very long periods ever and so I do things a the computer a bit at a time.
My mother and I seem to be in the same boat as you,my mother had a radical mastectomy over 30 years a go,but things have changed a lot since then and they have other ways to deal with it.
Money is good to have behind you but not if you have to leave it behind. So have a great holiday Marjorie don't get to sun burnt.Ann

Hi Helen, nice to hear you are on your way home again lucky thing, wish it was me. Say happy birthday to your Mum for me. Take some Pictures for us and let us see how things are going in Dysart. Nice to hear that Dysart is going to get a face lift. Maybe I can buck up the courage to get on the plane as see Dysart before they change it to much. Have a great holiday Helen. Ann
